Dr. Angie P. Hays

Angie Pellegrin Hays, PhD graduated with her doctorate degree from Louisiana State University in Clinical Psychology and minor in School Psychology in 2009. She completed her pre-doctoral residency at Florida State University. Upon completing her doctorate, she joined the private practice of Jefferson Neurobehavioral Group in Louisiana.  In 2012 she relocated to Houston, Texas with her family.  Dr. Hays became certified in telebehavioral health in 2014, helping advance the understanding of technology and its role in the mental health profession. After a few years of living as an expat living in Hungary, she returned to The Woodlands, Texas where she started Hays Behavioral Health, a boutique psychology clinic, focused on patient care and practitioner work-life balance. Her office is proud to be an internship site for University of Houston’s Master of Counseling program.

She enjoys helping persons in their journey with ADHD, from late in life differential diagnosis to achieving self-acceptance and attaining personal goals. She believes that authenticity, clear communication, and awareness of boundaries are the key successful interpersonal relationships. She is married to a loving husband who constantly has home projects, and is a proud mother to two young and lively children and one very fluffy dog. Her personal interests include cheering for the LSU Tigers and Saints, as well as cooking and biking.
