Amanda Swartz Biography, Intern Clinician
Amanda is a compassionate and dedicated advocate for mental health, a passion that inspired her to pursue a career in counseling. She brings several years of experience working with children of all ages in both educational settings and non-profit organizations. Amanda takes a solution-focused approach to therapy, drawing heavily from cognitive-behavioral techniques to help clients recognize that their mental health is both important and worth prioritizing.
She is known for her adaptability and strives to meet each client where they are, tailoring her approach to honor each individual’s unique story and needs.
Amanda earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Sciences from the University of Arkansas in 2023 and is currently pursuing her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys playing guitar, going on walks with her dog, and spending time with friends and family.
