Hayley Nichols is a licensed professional counseling associate with nearly 10 years of experience in the mental health field. She earned her master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling in 2025 from Lamar University and a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Texas A&M University in 2016. Her diverse experience includes providing crucial crisis intervention and psychosocial rehabilitation services in a community mental health setting and within the criminal justice system. Hayley is passionate about helping individuals who are struggling with life adjustments, depression, anxiety, stress management, self-harm, self-esteem and the impacts of trauma.
Hayley's therapeutic approach is grounded in the understanding that well-being is not merely the absence of distress but a dynamic journey of growth, self-awareness, and meaningful connection. She empowers her clients to recognize and cultivate their inherent strengths, develop effective coping strategies, and build a resilient foundation for lasting emotional health. Believing in fostering a strong sense of agency, Hayley equips individuals with practical tools to navigate future challenges with increased confidence and self-compassion. She thoughtfully integrates person-centered, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and mindfulness-based approaches into her practice, ensuring compassionate and evidence-based care tailored to each client's unique needs. Outside of her professional life, Hayley enjoys reading, spending time outdoors, and cherishing moments with her pet.
