NaKeatha D. Hodge, MA, MS, LPC-A

Under the Supervision of Laurin Ramirez MS, M.ED, LPC-S

I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A) in Texas with over 20 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, and families through counseling, education, and advocacy. My approach is compassionate, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive—designed to help clients feel seen, heard, and empowered.

My practice is rooted in my TEACH model: Thoroughly Educating and Counseling Holistically. I believe healing begins with knowledge, self-awareness, and support. Through this lens, I work with individuals to explore and release past hurts, fears, and limiting beliefs—so they can rediscover their voice and step fully into their authentic self.

With a background in both clinical and school-based settings, I specialize in child and adolescent therapy, social-emotional learning, behavior intervention, and parent education. I’m trained in CBT, DBT, and SEL practices, and I offer flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate busy families.

I hold dual master’s degrees in Counseling & Educational Leadership and Marriage & Family Therapy, along with a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education—all from Prairie View A&M University. My experience includes serving as a school counselor, behavior specialist, teacher, and volunteer therapist in community settings.

Whether working one-on-one or collaborating with families and educators, I’m passionate about creating safe, supportive spaces where growth, healing, and self-discovery can thrive.
